Your work was both aesthetically strong and conceptually resonant, capturing the essence of Escape in interesting and varied ways. The overall quality of submissions made the selection process especially challenging, which speaks to the strength of your contribution.

We hope you will continue to create and share your work, and we look forward to seeing how your practice evolves in the future. Thanks again for being part of this call and for trusting us with your art."

THEME: The Great Escape
Welcome, summer! Summer may be the quintessential season for escape, but the desire—and the methods—for escaping are with us throughout the year. Whether physical or emotional, passive or active, internal or
external, the urge to break away is deeply personal and
endlessly varied. Through your photographic practice—however you choose to express it—we invite you to explore and share what escapism means to you. Give us your interpretation of the essence of escaping, the motivation behind it, or both. Your expression can be intimate or expansive, individual or collective.

We want to see what you’re running from or where you’re running to. Show us where your thoughts take you, the people who put you back together, or the places that make you feel alive. For some, the photograph represents the escape, and for others, the act of photographing is the escape. We’re excited to see your vision of The Great Escape and hope the creative process brings you peace and introspection.
