NOTE FROM JURORS:
Dear Participants: We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your participation in this call for entry. The spirit of pushing photography beyond the expected has a deep lineage within the medium and remains a shared interest for both of us as jurors.
Judging is never an easy process. Because there were two jurors, we each began by reviewing the work independently before coming together to share our impressions. We found ourselves largely aligned, yet our conversations helped sharpen and clarify our individual responses. The dialogue itself became an important part of the process.
The overall level of submissions was exceptionally strong, and we were grateful to recognize as many artists as possible. Even for those not selected, please know that your work was carefully considered and valued.
Thank you again for contributing to such a vibrant and thoughtful group of entries.
Warmly, Ann Mitchell and Lori Pond
5% of artist entry fees goes to the charity of the jurors. Lori Pond and Ann Mitchell have chosen Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
